Microsoft

HCL provides engineering development services to Microsoft. As Creative Director for this $7M account, I worked as the bridge between design and development efforts to execute the Microsoft digital marketing web properties. I worked closely with external agency, POSSIBLE, and the development teams at HCL to design, build and test accessibility compliant components for Microsoft Web Framework (MWF) currently known as the Fluent Design System.

The components enabled UX designers to simply drag and drop from the web library into pages creating consistent Microsoft web properties, reducing dev time and scaling design globally across Microsoft. (XBOX.com, Surface.com, Hololens.com, Windows.com)

Microsoft Integrated Marketing Tracking and Reporting Tool

Microsoft retail teams needed a unified way to intake new campaign requirements and track progress across all physical and digital stores. As the lead designer, the solution was a web based intake form that mapped to all teams data and output a workback schedule, timeline, calendar and status tracker to follow a campaign from kickoff to completion. Internal access only. Store Beats went live in Aug 2017.

XBOX Live Social Media POC: Desktop & Mobile

HCL was hired to design & visualize some directions the XBOX product team had for a social media website. I led the 3 person design team allowing players to customize their profile pages, stream & share game play across any game streaming platform, and create squads to engage player card sharing with personal gaming stats. Designed to allow cross promotion between games and their players.

Microsoft Offer Details Tracking Tool Re-design

Microsoft Sales Team needed to improve engagement and customer tracking on the Offer Details page with a user interface that ensures discoverability, clean and easy to use. Using MWF (Microsoft Web Framework) design principals combined with bootstrap customization, we were able to create a compliant sales tracking tool. Pop up windows for descriptions of offer page collateral helps the team understand what is included in the sales package. Allows sales team to follow up with customers at appropriate times connecting them to integrated links to forms and related programs.
